Daijer's Electronic Adventures: Part 1

I've always had hella imposter syndrome when it comes to my electronics knowledge.
But my obsession with DC has changed my willpower to go into over drive.
"Dani! There's no time to waste" I thought, "If you don't start learning now when are you going to learn? It's the perfect time! You're at a university."
So enough is enough I'm going to do it.
Everything I do is with a goal in mind, This goal is to recreate something similar to the WolfTronix Animatronic Tail
I want to create a tail for a catwoman cosplay I want to do so I'll probably heavily modify it.
For future reference I want to make a cosplay of this version of Catwoman -> Absolute Catwoman I saw the concept sketches from Che Grayson and was like... Thats it, thats who I want to cosplay! A black character with a tail thats soo me!

But my electronics knowledge is pathetically low so uh, best get started now.
First I know all the physics baseline stuff, I remember that from A-Levels but I don't really understand it in practice.
I started with Ben Eater because explainations are always clear and nice and now I understand transistors a lot better.
I just got a little confused because I was using a bipolar npn transistor and I wanted to amplify a... wait I just realised whilst writing this what I did wrong I think.
I was using a 5 volt base instead of a... wait no this is so confusing.
Anyway, I do an hour a day of electronics work so I don't get overwhelmed whilst participating in my course.
I'll slowly be updating this when I make significant progress but for now I want to wrap my head around transistors.
Wish me luck!
